Peyton Morse Memorial Hole
The Ted Vickery Memorial Golf Tournament has designated a hole in memory of Peyton Morse. This hole was created in 2022 after Peyton unexpectedly and tragically passed away while at the NYS Fire Academy March of 2021. Peyton was someone who loved firefighting and was excited and eager to have a career as a first responder. Peyton was active in giving back to his community, he volunteered at multiple fire departments and was active at his community church. Peyton graduated from La Fargeville Central School in 2017 with honors. He was a senior at Sienna College earning his bachelors degree while volunteering at Shaker Road Volunteer Fire Department in Albany NY. Peyton was a friend to everyone and he was well known in his community. Peyton’s personality and character was such a bright shining light even during the darkest moments. Peyton’s favorite color was yellow. Hole #2 on the golf course the day of the tournament is designated as his hole and is plastered with yellow hearts in his memory.
